Tales From The Arabian Nights

Since these tales was interduced to western world by the French Orientalist Antoine Galland at the beginning of the 19th century, the tales of(the Arabian Nights) have enjoyed and entertained so many generations in Europe and America and become of the cultural heritage of the west. These tales retold directly from the original Arabic. The author used and introduced these stories by smart and different way which makes these stories more acceptable to the readers while they are fictitious and fable tales. The author used intelligent style to keep the readers read the complete stories because he make all tales in the book related together who want to get the result he/she still going on reading. At the start the author used main characters ( The king shahriyar and his brother shahrazaman and the hero of these tales shahrazad who convinced the king to stop killing women after married one women for one day.

Personally, I read this book and figure out that this book is good to develop myself in some skills as a new words and style of storytelling. It is enjoyable and interesting book and young adult tales. The author used easy names to represent the characters of the stories. Also, some Arabic words used in this book are assimilated into the English language such as Caliph, Vizier. The style of this book attempts to preserve the oriental flavor without recourse to archaisms.
